Update on Executive Members

It is with great pleasure that we announce changes to the membership of the Council of Australian Law Deans (CALD) Executive Committee, as well as the creation of a new Executive portfolio – First Peoples Partnerships.

Professor Therese Wilson (Dean of Law and Head of School, Griffith Law School, Griffith University) has been appointed as CALD Treasurer.  CALD thanks Professor Simon Bronitt (University of Sydney) for his valued service in this role.

Professor Belinda Bennett (Head of School and Dean, School of Law and Justice, University of Newcastle) has been appointed as CALD Vice-Chair Research. CALD thanks Professor Matthew Harding (University of Melbourne) for his valued service in this role.

Professor Mark Nolan (Director, Centre for Law and Justice, Charles Sturt University has been appointed as the inaugural Vice Chair First Peoples Partnerships.

The Standards, Accreditation and the Legal Profession Portfolio has been discontinued.  Thank you to Professor Jenni Lightowlers (Deakin University) for her valued service in this role.
